Read the details behind material claims.
WALK NOTE 05 When a label says “recycled,” look for the percentage and the component it describes. A claim about the outer box does not tell you the content of the bag. Recycled content, compostability and biodegradability describe different things. Do not infer disposal instructions from a green color or a natural-looking package. Check the product’s instructions and the rules from your local waste authority. No material or environmental claim has been verified for our upcoming bags. Will a refill fit your dispenser?
WALK NOTE 02 Open your dispenser and measure its usable inside width and diameter. If it has a spindle, check the roll’s core opening too. Compare all three with the refill’s stated measurements before buying. A similar-looking roll is not proof of fit. Leave enough room for the roll to turn, and check that the bag feeds through the opening without snagging. Ask for missing measurements instead of assuming “standard” means compatible. A walk kit you can check in a minute.
WALK NOTE 03 Before leaving, check the leash or harness, the bag supply and anything else your dog needs for that outing. Keeping the kit in one familiar place makes the check easier to repeat. Look inside the dispenser. Carry a spare roll or a few extra bags separately so an empty holder does not leave you without a backup. Keep unused bags dry and protected from damage.
